Personal Curriculum: Know Your Options to Modify the Michigan Graduation Requirements

The Personal Curriculum is a process to modify specific Michigan Merit Curriculum credit requirements and content expectations based on the individual learning needs of a student as well as their post-school goals. Michigan Assured Admission Pact (MAAP)

The Michigan Assured Admission Pact aims to streamline the college admissions process, boost enrollment, and help students realize their full education potential. Participating MAAP universities assure admission to any Michigan high school graduate who has earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale). The goal of the MAAP is to reduce barriers to college enrollment by demystifying the admissions process and raising awareness about the uniform admission standards across all participating institutions. High school counselors and advisers should consider attending to learn more about the MAAP and how to fully harness the array of financial aid available for students.
