AmeriCorps College Completion Coach or AdviseMI Adviser

Michigan College Access Network (MCAN), in close partnership with Michigan colleges and universities, seeks to help more Michigan students pursue postsecondary education. MCAN’s College Completion Corps will place full-time AmeriCorps members on community college campuses to supplement campus efforts to increase persistence and completion for students who have the most college success barriers.

MCAN’s Advise MI advisers will place full-time AmeriCorps members in selected High Schools across Michigan, particularly high schools that are in communities with low college-going rates and low adult educational attainment rates.

As Vice President for Finance and Operations, you'll lead our Business Operations team in managing the university's financial health and operational effectiveness. You'll work closely with senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives that support our mission of providing exceptional higher education experiences.

Executive Director of Admissions — Michigan State University

The Executive Director oversees domestic, transfer, international, and digital recruitment efforts, high school and community college relations, campus visit programs, and admissions operations. The role also provides operational oversight of application processing for graduate and professional programs.

High School Guidance Counselor — Waverly Community Schools

As a member of the instructional team, the counselor provides a comprehensive guidance program for students in grades 9-12. The counselor also provides activities to meet the needs of the students, consults with teachers, staff, parents and postsecondary institutions to enhance their effectiveness in helping students become college and/or career ready.

Director of Career and Technical Education — Menominee County ISD

The primary role of the Director/Principal is to supervise and manage all aspects of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, including facilities, personnel, and instructional programs, while also providing regional leadership and supporting workforce and program development throughout the Upper Peninsula. This position may also include teaching upwards of 1, 2 hour-block in an effort to expand/increase CTE programming within the ISD.

Assistant Professor, Academic Advising and Transfer Center — Grand Rapids Community College

Academic Advisors serve a vital role in supporting the academic success and holistic development of our diverse student population. They work closely with students to provide guidance, support, and resources to help them navigate their educational journey effectively. A primary focus for this position is to empower students to make informed decisions and set academic and career goals.

Reverse Transfer Project Coordinator — Michigan Association of State Universities

This part-time, remote or hybrid contractor position will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of the National Student Clearinghouse’s Reverse Transfer service among participating Michigan public universities. The project will enable the state’s public universities to more efficiently exchange course and grade data involving students who transfer from a community college to a university.

Admissions Counselor/Senior Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director-Admissions — Northern Michigan University

One position is available with the potential to be filed at any of the listed levels consistent with the selected applicant's experience. Responsible for meeting enrollment goals of a recruitment region or specific population and/or participation/satisfaction goals of assigned programs/activities.

Principal Associate, Quality Skills and Education Pathways Project — Pew

The Principal Associate, Advocacy, Quality Skills and Education Pathways Project, will support and at times lead research-based, public policy outreach and advocacy related to the needs of the project.

Program Assistant — Winning Futures

This position is responsible for assisting in our motivational, Workforce Prep Mentoring Program sessions at three high schools, calling/texting our students to check-in each month, and completing office clerk duties. You will meet with program staff prior to each session, organize supplies and materials, manage program supply inventory and purchasing, build relationships with mentors, educators, and students, and provide support to the program department. Potential schools are Cass Tech, Communications & Media Arts, Community, Harper Woods, Hazel Park, and Warren Mott High Schools.

Program Director, Detroit M.A.D.E. Scholars Program — Michigan State University

This role provides overall leadership and vision for a cohort-based initiative designed to increase the number of Detroit students who graduate from MSU. The program Director will oversee holistic student support services and promote outreach, transition, student success, retention, and degree completion through a data-informed and assessment-based lens.

Program Manager, Humanities Subgrant Initiative — Michigan Consortium for Higher Education in Prison

The Program Manager will serve as the primary coordinator of MiCHEP’s Mellon-funded humanities subgrant program, managing the full lifecycle of a competitive mini-grant initiative for member institutions. They will coordinate closely with MiCHEP leadership, Michigan College Access Network, member institutions, faculty, justice-impacted students, and external reviewers to ensure the program advances Mellon Foundation priorities related to the humanities, access, equity, and long-term institutional transformation.
