During College Access Advocacy Day, more than 100 people from across the state attend meetings with legislators to rally around postsecondary access and attainment in support of Sixty by 30 and other key priorities. The event is open to anyone who has a passion for college access and postsecondary attainment. Participants have included school counselors, Local College Access Network coordinators and team members, higher education professionals, community-based organization leaders and staff, philanthropic leaders, and more.

In the past, these individuals have represented all 38 Senate districts and 91 House districts. College Access Advocacy Day is the result of a collaboration among MCAN, Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling, Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Michigan Promise Zones Association, and Michigan Student Financial Aid Association.
