MCAN saves recordings of webinars for your convenience and professional development. Recording and SCECH quiz links are posted as quickly as possible after a webinar's completion, but please allow up to several business days. Most webinars are eligible to earn SCECHs for up to three months past their recording date, but there may be exceptions.
Single Session Webinars
In this session, MCAN staff will cover updates regarding the 25-26 FAFSA and what you can do to be ready for the FAFSA opening on Dec. 1. This webinar will include Allison Jordan from Merrill Community Schools, who will share their promising practices for FAFSA completion from the last FAFSA cycle and how you can implement them at your school.
The Michigan Assured Admission Pact aims to streamline the college admissions process, boost enrollment, and help students realize their full education potential. Participating MAAP universities assure admission to any Michigan high school graduate who has earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale). The goal of the MAAP is to reduce barriers to college enrollment by demystifying the admissions process and raising awareness about the uniform admission standards across all participating institutions. High school counselors and advisers should consider attending to learn more about the MAAP and how to fully harness the array of financial aid available for students.
