MCAN's eighth annual college access advocacy event will be held March 5, 2025, in Lansing. During last year's event, over 160 people from across the state attended 110 meetings with legislators throughout the day to rally around postsecondary access and attainment in support of Sixty by 30, in addition to other key priorities. They represented all 38 Senate districts and 91 House districts.

College Access Advocacy Day is the result of a collaboration among MCAN, Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling, Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Michigan Promise Zones Association, and Michigan Student Financial Aid Association.
